The Citizens Advice Service in Liverpool has a rich and colourful history spanning 75 years. The Bureaux have been advising Liverpool communities since the outbreak of WWII.

As part of our 75th birthday celebrations we wanted to revisit that past and have put together a history pamphlet for the CAB, which we would like to share with you.

New Volunteers on board for Financial Capability Hub

We are delighted to welcome new six newly trained Volunteers for our IFC project, the Financial Capability Hub.

Our autumn cohort of volunteers completed their training earlier this week in money management and are ready to advise social housing tenants with managing their money and avoid falling into debt. They will be placed alongside the current volunteers in CAB and advice agencies in Liverpool, increasing our capacity significantly. All volunteers also have the opportunity to gain an OCN accreditation to further their skills.
